Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of marshmallow root (Althaea Officinalis)
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseeds
  • 1 tablespoon of sage
  • 1 sliced lemon
  • 250ml of water
  • 1 cup of Pure Maple Syrup or 8.8oz/250g of brown sugar

Preparation:
Place the water in a small saucepan and add the pure maple syrup/brown sugar. Preheat the pure maple syrup on a medium heat or, if using brown sugar, preheat the sugar on a medium heat until it melts. Add the other ingredients and lower the heat. Take the saucepan off the heat after around 15 minutes and strain the mixture.

Drink a tablespoon of the syrup three times a day. Use the mixture until there are improvements and you’ve gotten rid of the cough. Store the syrup in the fridge.
